It has been created on the quiet side of the spa zone of Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) by merging three important spa facilities: The Švýcarský dvůr (Swiss court) Hotel, the Sanssouci Hotel, and the Mercedes Villa. After a comprehensive reconstruction (2009), which included the construction of an underground connecting corridor, it offers its guests maximum comfort “under one roof”. The operating of the facility induced the fiction of a seaside summer resort, where balcony and a beautiful view of the Teplá River Valley, started on May 29th, 1970. Spa Resort Sanssouci was awarded as the “Czech Republic´s Leading Spa Resort”, namely for the years 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Accommodation
The Spa Resort Sanssouci has an accommodation capacity of 634 beds on an area of 8000 m2, divided in 2 main hotel buildings Blue House and Green House. All rooms are newly renovated and furnished in a modern style. You can choose from accommodation in several categories: Standard Room - 40 single room, 268 double room, Superior Room (4, only in Green House), Suite (22), Deluxe Suite (3).
Every room has modern furniture, TV set, telephone, minibar and a safety box. It also offers free internet connection. Bathrooms in these rooms have a bathtub or a shower enclosure, sink, toilet, hair drier and a cosmetic mirror. During their stay our guests are provided with basic toiletries, hotel hand towels and bath towels, and a dressing gown. Some rooms have a balcony that can be request at the time of reservation.
Restaurants, cafe and bar
The taste buds of the hotel guests are in the hands of a team of professional chefs and other qualified personnel at the modern furnished restaurants of the Spa Resort Sanssouci. Their task is to prepare a culinary delicatessen pleasing not only the taste, but also the other senses. New is the so called „SHOW KITCHEN“ in the Opera Restaurant.
Restaurant Charleston (Blue House)
This modern, non-smoking restaurant located in the Blue House provides boarding in the form of buffet tables. If necessary, it can be directly interconnected with the congress facilities. Guests staying in a Standard Room Blue House board at the Charleston Restaurant.
Restaurant Melody (Green House)
Also the Green House offers its guests pleasant times in the modern environment of a non-smoking restaurant. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in the Melody Restaurant are served in the form of buffet tables.

The luxurious, non-smoking Opera restaurant serves meals in the form of buffet tables as well as Á la carte. The SHOW KITCHEN is the “attraction” of the Opera Restaurant. Blues Cafe (Blue House)
A modern cafe with a bar and summer terrace gives its guests relaxing and fun moments. The café organizes dance evenings and other social events on a regular basis. The selection of hot and cold drinks and cocktails is impressive. The same applies for the selection of items from the menu. The professional waiting personnel will not even be surprised by your wish for a high quality wine or cigar.

The lobby bar and the adjacent atrium is a place where guests can relax with a cup of quality coffee or a well chilled drink. Besides the pleasant sitting and friendly staff, the guests can also enjoy a quiet zone.
